Arkitektur N magazine is the Norwegian Review of Architecture. It is a Norwegian language publication with summaries and captions in English. Arkitektur N is published with eight issues per year. Since 1919 Arkitektur N (formerly Byggekunst) has been the main presentation journal for Norwegian architects, landscape architects and interior architects.
Arkitektur N presents and reviews architecture in and from Norway along with articles, essays, research and other stories, by Norwegian and international writers.

Arkitektur N is editorially independent and a member of Fagpressen, The Norwegian Specialized Press Association. Fagpressen is the association for \"business to business\" magazines and online publications in Norway.
Fagpressen is a member of the Norwegian Press Association, which ensures that all members are bound to publish in accordance to the \"The rights and duties of the editor\" and \"Code of ethics of the norwegian press\".
Arkitektur N is a Level 1 research publication. Selected articles are peer reviewed by external experts.

The National Association of Norwegian Architects, NAL, is a professional association open to architects with an approved university degree. NAL was established in 1911, and the organization works to promote the understanding of architecture in society, to contribute to a sustainable future, to improve the conditions for Norwegian architectural production and to ensure high quality in architectural practice.
NAL consists of 14 local chapters. In june 2015 NAL had just over 4200 members, including approx. 650 student members.

Arkitektur N is the only trade journal that reaches all architects qualified for membership of The National Association of Norwegian Architects, the Norwegian Association of Interior Architects and Furniture Designers and the Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects as well as many other professionals in the building trade.
Surveys confirm that each issue is kept as a reference and brought out to provide information and inspiration for practicing architects and designers.
