How small can a cabin be?

This very small cabin for a family of four is based on a close analysis of the minimum functional requirements for a hiking- and leisure base. The structure is a single room, in timber log construction, the floor insulated with wool and with wood fibre in the ceiling. The shed was prefabricated in our garden in Trondheim and erected on site in a day.
